Glasgow is served by three international airports – Glasgow International, Glasgow Prestwick and Edinburgh International. Glasgow International Airport is located 15 minutes from the city centre with frequent direct services available. There are direct shuttle bus services departing every 10 minutes from £6.50 for a single. Or you can get a taxi from the rank right at the airport. In addition both Glasgow Prestwick and Edinburgh International Airports are just 45 minutes’ drive from Glasgow city centre. Each airport offers a combination of direct train and bus links for both airports to Glasgow city centre. Find our more information on traveling by air.
Glasgow has two major railway stations in the city centre serving routes from the north (Glasgow Queen Street Station) and south (Glasgow Central Station). Both are well connected to the city’s rail, subway and bus networks for onward travel.
Glasgow is at the centre of a major road hub making access incredibly easy by car. Scotland has an extensive motorway road network.
