Bonnie the seal, the official Glasgow 2018 mascot, has been showing off her seal mobile – the new set of wheels which will help her get around between now and the Championships next summer.

The ‘Bonnie’ carriage will help take the mascot to venues, events and attractions right across Scotland, as the playful seal pup continues to meet thousands of young people at sport clubs, schools and community groups.

Bonnie posed with her new star-studded vehicle at the Emirates Arena which will host the Glasgow 2018 track cycling action within the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.

Fun, vibrant and playful, just like Bonnie herself, the seal mobile is now scooting around our streets and will visit hundreds of locations in the run up to the inaugural European Championships which get underway on 2 August 2018.

In her first outing in the seal mobile, Bonnie will visit Belhaven Nursery in Glasgow today, followed by the Scottish Indoor Rowing Championships and a packed weekend of fun at Paisley Christmas Light Switch On and Gymfest gymnastics competition in Perth.

The special car features the playful seal pup in her signature waving pose, her name and stars which show the colours for each of the six Glasgow 2018 sports: Aquatics, Cycling, Golf, Gymnastics, Rowing and Triathlon.

Keep an eye out for Bonnie and be sure to give her a wave, or nab her for a sealfie. You can find out where to meet her, or how to invite her to your event or club, HERE.
